Growing up in a small rural town, I was exposed to nature's beauty at an early age. Our home was surrounded by forests and every walk in the woods was an adventure. Now, as an adult, I still seek that adventure in nature throughout the world.
I am humbled by towering mountains and the natural forces that created them. Amazed by the expanse of glaciers and their ability to carve through mountains and shape the landscape. Fascinated by the patterns and textures found in nature, and the stories they can tell about the earth's processes.
Through photography I am able to explore and study the earth in various ways. Either by seeing vast landscapes or focusing in on the intricate details of the bark of trees. Photography allows me to share my experiences, and all of nature's brilliance, with others.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a concentration in Photography from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
